Photo resolution tips

The higher the resolution, the better photos will print.
We'll help put your best print forward with some hints:

• Large prints may need higher resolution.
  Choose Full Resolution under Image Size in the uploader for large prints.
• Snapping shots with a digital camera?
  Adjust the photo resolution as you go.
• We always check the photo resolution before you order a product.
  If we think the photo isn't large enough to meet the CVS Photo standard, you’ll see a warning telling you that the image resolution is too low and so the printed image may appear blurry or pixelated.
• Facebook and Instagram are much smaller than photos from most digital cameras.
  The resolution may be too low for large projects, but are perfectly fine for small products like 4 x 6 prints or smaller photos in photo books.

How do I know if my photos have the right resolution?

• Find the product on the list (below).
• Check the dimensions of your photos.
• Match those dimensions to the photo resolution.
